Multi-Dwelling Demarc (MDX)

The Multi-Dwelling Demarc (MDX) Enclosure is a user friendly easily accessible panel designed for optical tap,breakout, splitter, or pre-term based MDU applications.

Patch & Splice or Patch Only configurations are available.

The Patch & Splice configuration features two different available adapter plate partition configurations. The half width LGX configuration is designed for use with half width LGX adapter plates and cassettes and features removable radius guides and optional fiber management rings for splice side cable subunit slack. The LGX configuration is designed for use with LGX adapter plates and cassettes and has fiber management rings for splice side cable subunit slack.

The patch only configuration features one door and is designed for pre-term or cassette based applications.

The generously sized patch compartment has cable management rings on the back face to organize drop cable slack.

• Removable double hinged doors enhance access

• Hinged adapter plate partition supports angled or straight orientations for enhanced connector access

• Both doors feature external handles and an internal slot for a removable port identification chart

• Optional 24/48-position microduct coupler plate and 24/48-position cable gland plate attaches to the top or bottom side of the patch com        partment

• Patch side features 2-position drop cable or 1” or 3/4” Riser-Gard® innerduct plate and tie down bracket attached to the top and bottom

• Doors are secured separately with a hex bolt and are opened with a 7/16” telco can wrench

• Patch & Splice configuration features hinged removable splice trays sit vertically or at a 45 degree angle for enhanced fiber accessibility

• Patch & Splice configuration features features top and bottom entry grommets for cable securement with cable clamps or Riser-Gard® inn         e  rduct securement with hose clamps on splice side
